Fairy House Pictures

I’ve had several requests for pictures of the fairy houses, so I opened up a flickr account to display them.

I’ve no idea how often I’ll be posting pictures. Maybe someday I’ll figure out how to put pictures in LJ rather than just pointing at them.

  1. Wow! Those are awesome! I love the idea for that. Maybe I’ll pass it on to my sister. (She has 4 kids, too. A 5-year-old girl, and three boys aged 16, 14, and 9.)

  3. Those are really cute! I have to admit I wasn’t expecting such quality construction.

It looks difficult to directly link to a picture in Flickr, but as part of your paid account with LJ, you have an account at pics.livejournal.com where you can store and sort pictures, and then link to them directly in your LJ entries.

Let us know if you need any help! I’m sure you’ve got lots of journal readers who’re willing to lend a helpful word or three.

  5. linking Flickr pictures

You can directly link a Flickr image with some clicking and some html code copy and paste. Go directly to the photo’s page, at the size you want. For example, with one of yours try this link. Scroll down and you should see “2. Copy and paste this html into your webpage.” Do exactly that. If you’re familiar with html you can clean up the code and make it look better, but if not, what you’ve got right there will look kinda like this below.

Good luck! Feel free to ask other questions. 🙂
